I won't run in anything but a running skirt anymore.. even when it's freezing. There is nothing like running in a skirt. I love the way it feels.. and the men certainly take notice.

I ran two holiday 10Ks this year.  The first was was the Jingle All the Way 10K in Washington, DC.  I finished that one in 52:50--my fastest 10K ever.

The next one was Ruldolph's Red Nose 10K in Fairfax, VA.  I ran this with a friend and her daughter (the girl in the picture).  It was her daughter's first 10K, and we finished in 1:02:15.  It's great to see another generation start and enjoy running!  The skirt worked great with tights for both races, and I even got a compliment on the skirt at Rudolph's 10K.

After the 10 mile Frosty race! My mom and I had a great race. I won my age- group, and my mom PR'd in her 10k, 15k, as well as her 10 mile times!  We had a blast and both ran hard in our skirts!!
I finished in 1:32:44
My mom finished in 2:08:02

Oh the weather outside was frightful, but my skirt was so delightful!!!  This was the first time that I braved the cold (23 degrees F at the start).  I was happy the race was in the morning.  Later that day we received 8 - 10 inches of snow and temps dropped.  I don't know if it was the skirt or the the cold, but I ran my fastest 10K to date -- 50:41.  Aw, who am I kidding.  It was definitely the skirt!!!

This is me at home after the Manhattan Beach Yuletide Sunset 5K!!! It was a blast to run out on the sand just after low tide as the sun was going down. Thanks Running Skirts!!!

Time: 33:00

Thanks!!!

 Rudolph's 10k Run

The cool crisp air perfect weather for wearing a running skirt
Comments about skirts: the new black & pink is the BEST skirt ever!!  I love my pinkypink, foonavyblo and ruby/snow but nothing compares to my new fav!
