Happy Running!

Jul 08

Dear Running skirts:

I absolutely LOVE my skirt and I ran with it all during my pregnancy.  My husband and I ran in 4 races (the last of which was 2 1/2 weeks before I delivered) during my pregnancy and I managed to run between 5-6 days a week up until I delivered.

The reason for my email is to say "Congratulations" on being mentioned in the Runner's World Magazine. It was so awesome to see your skirts rated. They are stellar skirts.

I am attaching some pictures of me in my skirt while I was pregnant in case you need them for your website, etc. I am planning on buying another skirt today. Thanks again and happy running!

Meg (wearing Fit Momma Running Skirt in Black)

Here's a shot of me running the Riley's Rumble Half Marathon in Poolesville, MD on July 27.

The course is hot and hilly, there is no medal at the end and you don't get a t-shirt----but it's a great run that attracts hundreds of runners each year. I was able to tackle the hills in style thanks to my running skirt. A few volunteers and runners complimented me and I told them about this site.

Thanks for a great product!

Wakesurfing at the reservoir

Call me a rebel!

I'm learning to wakesurf and found that regular bikinis and "swim skirts" don't provide enough coverage or stay put.

My running skirt allows me to spend the day on the water with some coverage, doesn't bunch or ride up as I get up on the board, plus it looks great when we stop off for a cold one on the trip home.

PS. I don't really think I have muscles, but sometimes a girl's gotta 'flex'. :)

By the way, my daughter loves her running skirt - although we mostly only run to the coffee shop :)

Thank you,

YMCA Summer Sizzler 10K, O’Fallon IL

This was my first 10K and the first time I’d ever raced in this skirt.  It was really comfortable and kept me dry.  The bright pink drew a lot of attention and really made me stand out – there was only one other runner at this event wearing a skirt – and I got a lot of compliments and questions about my running skirt.

I ran the race (lots of BIG hills and hot, humid weather) in 1:02 and placed first in my age group (40-49).  I am running my first half in September, and I intend to run it in one of your skirts.

Here is me in my new running skirt!

I love it and I feel so sexy and confident when I run in it! It makes for the best runs, thank you for your wonderful product and I can't wait to get another one!

Becky (wearing red & white running skirts)

We've corresponded over majority of my pregnancy and I am just now getting around to sending you a pic (I am 31 weeks!) of me in my skirt lookig scrubby after one of my runs!   One, because I want others to see that you can still keep fit during pregnancy and two, I really want to win a free running skirt!!!!  I only have two weeks to go (maybe less) and wanted to thank you for all of your advice and support!

Thanks so much!

Jamie

Annual Watermelon Classic held every July 4

My daughter competed in the one-mile fun run in her mini skirt. She loves it and wouldn't consider running in anything else.  She had a ball and is so proud of her medal.

I am 32 weeks pregnant in this picture (& still running of course!) and the skirt makes me feel less huge-I love it.

I really have enjoyed wearing my running skirt.

I have the black and yellow.  I know of several that are going to order a skirt after seeing mine.

The pictures I sent are from the Old Ben 5k Race on March 15, 2008.  I got my pr... 23:36.  I also had a two great cheer leaders...My nephew Brayden and his friend Halie.

Thanks

Attached is a picture of my 15 year old niece and me at a 5K here in Minnesota on July 12.  It was her first 5K and she wants to do more! I am wearing chocopink. I was recognized by another runner, not by my race time, but by my "cute outfit!"

Thanks!

The skirts were a big hit! Thank you so much for the generous group discount, it made it possible for most of us to look like a great team and the media and other teammates loved our pink tops and blue skorts. Lots of great comments on the skirts!

My team raised the most money $22K+ and won a team prize (hilarious, dinner at jack astor’s) and the whole event raised over $270K for AIDS in Malawi.

PS-I'll also attach a photo from the Slacker Half Marathon on June 28th. This is the highest altitude downhill half marathon in the country, starting at almost 11,000 feet.  I wore my chocopink skirt, and it felt great out there!

Here I am in the Westerville, OH Rotary 5K this 4th of July!

Just wanted to share a picture with you…  and ignore the face expression…  it was a little hot that day (for me).

Have a great weekend.

And thanks… I love the running skirts…   And other people are loving it too… I was asked by at least 2 people at this run.

Regards,

Eunice (wearing ruby snow0

I'm sending along a couple of pictures from Canada Day of Ingrid and I.

This was Ingrid's second race.

I am in love with my Mini Dot red & white polka dots skirt. In May of this year a friend and I ran the Ottawa Half Marathon in our running skirts (she has a black one), which we had bought at the expo the day before. Since then I have been training for a Half Marathon that takes place in October and my running skirt has to be my favourite piece of running clothing for training, especially in the extremely hot weather we have been having recently. Attached are two pictures of my friend Christine and me at the Ottawa Half Marathon. One is of us crossing the finish line (I have my arms up) and the second is of us with our well deserved metals. Thanks for the great running gear!
