Green Bay Marathon: Half Marathon
Comments about your runningskirt gear? I loved running in my skirt during my very first half marathon in Green Bay this May. I have the Athletic Skirt, which fits my larger frame (size 14/16) perfectly. I never felt overexposed, didn’t have any chafing and almost never had to pull the shorts down to cover my thighs while running. Fellow female runners even ran up alongside me to comment on how nice the skirt looked and of course, I told them about your website! Thank you for helping to make my first major race experience so unforgettable for the right reasons and not because my clothing failed me!!

Name of running event/description of run: Tom's Run, A 200-mile team building fitness event in memory of CWO4 Tom Brooks, U.S. Coast Guard
Tom's Run is held annually to promote fitness and raise awareness of Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS) and is named in honor of CWO4 Tom Brooks, USCG(Ret.), who contracted ALS (also known as Lou Gehrig's disease) in early 1999. Tom was an avid fitness promoter. He had a reputation for persuading couch potatoes to get up and get moving. When Tom was diagnosed with ALS, his friends decided to show their appreciation for the inspiration Tom had given them by having a run in his honor.
The race starts in Cumberland, Maryland sometime after midnight on the first day. Runners, accompanied at all times by a bike escort, take turns in a relay run entirely along the historic C&O Canal towpath to Georgetown in Washington, DC. From there, it curves back to Bethesda, Maryland to finish at the Uniformed Services University inside the U.S. Navy Medical Center grounds. The run proceeds through the first day, through the second day, and ends when the teams cross the finish line together as close to 11:00 AM on the third day as possible.

Here I am running the New York Road Runners NY Mini 10K (the world's first women-only road race). It was 80 degrees with 79% humidity at the end of the race but I felt great in my skirt and ran it faster than last year's race!

This was the finish line of the "Need For Speed Relay" in Westchester, NY-it was a very hot 95 degree day-so hot that the organizers had to end the relay early! I decided to run part of my leg anyway because I still wanted to cross that finish line!! Thanks to your "ladybug" skirt...I was able to dress for the heat and look pretty good too :)

I wanted to send you this email to send along a photo of me in my running skirt. The photo was taken during the 8 Wing Trenton Red Run and was composed of military and civilian members of the wing. Ther run was done as part of Canadian Forces Day, and contributed a total of 4084 km towards the Air Force Run to Afghanistan program now on. Overall it was to support the troops, and having just returned from Afghanistan, I really know that the support is appreciated!

Indianapolis 500 Festival Mini Marathon
Comments about your runningskirt gear? Jen and Shell after running in their first Mini! We love our skirts and don't like to run in anything else!
We already ordered 2 more for our 2nd mini just 2 weeks from this one. We took 9 minutes off of our time in the second race :) it has to be the sexy running skirts!!

Hello!
Here are photos from the Frederick Half Marathon on May 4th. This was the first race I've run since 1991 (my last high school track season) and my first half marathon ever! I was a bit of a novelty in my skirt and received many compliments along the way. Thank you for creating such lovely, yet comfortable running gear!!

Dear Running Skirts:
Here are some photos of me in one of my skirts at the Market Square 10K race in Portsmouth, NH. I can't even believe I am sending these to try and win a skirt because I already have six (6!!!). I love the skirts and I tell other runners that it is like running "bare"....you don't even know you have anything on. I don't see many women wearing these skirts here in New England. If you ever need anyone to promote them, let me know....I work for skirts!!!
And by the way, at least three woman have told me they thought these were for "young girls". Well I am 61 and I think it looks good on me! Thanks for a great product.

Hello!
I got my running skirt last week and have been enjoying it immensely. I was worried the mesh underpants would ride up but they didn't at all...Comfortable and cute and functional! Great combination!
