Attached is a photo of me from last year's Marine Corps Marathon
wearing your running skirt. Last year I ran in memory and honor of one of our
nation's heroes, Cpl Salem Bachar (USMC) who lost his life for our
country in Iraq.
In a little more than 2 weeks, I will be running again in memory of my brother-in-law, another American hero. I run with the group Tragedy Assistance Program for Survivors (TAPS), a non-profit
that helps the families and survivors of our fallen heroes, especially
children, with grief counseling and support groups www.taps.org

Hi, my name is Sayge Waldron and I am 7yrs old. I ran the Disneyland 5k run on 9/2/07 by myself. It was so much fun. My family lives in Southern California so we are at Disneyland all the time. So when I saw the Minnie Mouse running skirt, I had to have it. My daddy bought it for me at the Health Expo. Now not only can I run my 3 miles in 35 minutes I now look really cute doing it.
Im actually in trainging to run a half-marathon with my daddy in Las Vegas. I am so excited. The skirts are so comfortable, I never thought you could look so cute running. Its really cool to hear people give compliments on how good you look when your running down the street.
Thank you
Sayge (wearing mini dot "mini skirt") |

I bought this skirt at the Disney Half Marathon Expo.
It seemed like the perfect attire to run through Disneyland in. It was functional, comfortable and just plain fun! Thank-you so much for a great product!

I'm (nicole) in pinky pink and my mom (paulette) is in navy/pumpkin. This was on September 16, 2007 at the Philly Distance Run. It was our 2nd half marathon and we both came in at our best time ever, mom came in 1:58 and I came in 2:00! It was good luck from the running skirts.
I will never wear shorts again! We are training for MCM in Oct and I train in my skirt and I am wearing it the day of the marathon!!

The one of me & my best friend/ running partner was taken after our first 100 mile Ultramarathon - The Lean Horse 100 (Aug 25-26, 2007).
My friend Shelly is on the right holding the horseshoe award that she received by sprinting to the
finish line just ahead of me...yes...SPRINTING...after 99 long miles. We finished in 22nd place with a time of 24:05:00 - they place finishers in the same slot when you are so close together. We placed 6th & 7th women...not bad for our first 100-miler! The skirts were just amazing! No chafing like many of the other runners had to with. We had many comments about how "cute" we Canadian girls were. There was one other running skirt wearer in this event & she badgered us with questions about where we got our
skirts. No doubt we told her! Thanks again for a great product.
The 2nd photo is of me during a valley run after the 100 miler...still can't imagine going
back to regular shorts again.

Here is me doing my 1st 10 mile race. I was so comfortable, these skirts are the best. I haven’t seen anyone else in Ireland with them but I’ve been spreading the word!
I’ll never wear shorts again.

These photos were taken at the inaugural “Dash for Don 6K” (that’s right, 6k, not a typo) in Huntersville, NC on Sept 29, 2007.
I am wearing my running skirt in seafoam/sky, and my 14-month-old son Liam is showing his support in his “Go Mommy Go!” onesie.
He must have been my good luck charm, since I took 2nd place in my age group (40-49) in just my second race since my pregnancy!

Me in my black/currant skirt running the IU mini marathon half marathon on Sept. 8th. VERY hilly, very hot, but I had a blast! I poured tons of water over my head, so I got a little wet from head to toe…
Also, tomorrow morning I’m off to CHICAGO to run the marathon in a ruby/snow skirt. The marathon organizers just sent out a heat advisory, so it seems I can’t get away from the heat. I’m sure you’ve heard from tons of customers who are running Chicago just like me. Wish us luck!
Hope all is well and thanks again for making such a great piece of performance runningwear. I only wear skirts now.
Best,
Cindy (wearing blackcurrant) |

This is at mile 16 of the Leading Ladies Marathon in Spearfish, South Dakota. This race is becoming a tradition among my friends and I from Casper, Wy. It will be a skirt tradition for me!
This skirt is a very comfortable piece of running gear. I really felt like I was stylin' when about 100 yards from finish line I heard........."Oh, look at you in your cute little running skirt!".
The other photo is me crossing the finish line (obviously). Thanks for the terrific product.

Hi Running Skirts!
Here is a funny photo of my “support rider” chasing me out the door for my long run this weekend in Grand Rapids , MI . It was a beautiful fall day and John was kind enough to keep me company and hold my water during the perfect fall run. Training for Disney in my choco-licious running skirt!
Run on.

My sister & I ran the first ever Hungry Duck Half Marathon in Brighton, Michigan on the fourth of July wearing matching skirts.
We loved running in our pinky pink skirts and got MANY compliments on them. In fact, we shared the website with so many people that the next Hungry Duck Run may be filled with skirts. RUN GIRLS RUN!!!

Just finished a 6 1/2 mile run on Coronado Beach-I am now fully recovered from a total break of my femoral neck. I got the green light to run again in Mid May. I'm training for a 1/2 marathon in January 2008- I never got to cross the finish line this year, I ended up in an ambulance at mile 3, emergency surgery and 3 screws in my femoral neck-next year (2008) I will cross the finish line in my runningskirt!!! I can never go back to running shorts.

Grandma's Marathon in Duluth, MN. My first marathon and I ran in until 4 hours! A friend lent a skirt to me and I absolutely fell in love! Now I want one in every color!
I got so many comments on how cute it was and told everyone about the website.
Thank you so much for helping it be an unforgettable experience!

I've been wearing my chocqua skirt for a few months now and it honestly revolutionized my running experience! So much so, that I decided to train for my first Xterra triathlon and compete in the skirt! It was immensely comfortable on the bike and the run - and felt great over my tankini. I feel like I'm on top of the world now that I've completed my first Xterra - and I thank runningskirts.com for helping me be cute in my conquest!

This was me at the New Bedford 5K on Saturday, August 4. Very hot day, but the skirt kept me cool. Love the fit! I will never run in anything else again. It is the only time you will ever find me in a skirt!

I went on a fabulous family vacation to Hawaii this summer with my brother Craig, my niece Katie Beth, and my nephew Andrew. I packed all three of my running skirts, and they were perfect for our outdoor activities and running on the beach.
Katie Beth took the pictures of me in my foonavyblu running skirt at the summit of Mt. Haleakala on Maui. Even at 10,023 feet above sea level, my running skirt was comfortable for hiking and super-cute!

I absolutely loved wearing my running skirt and top during the
Pewaukee Triathlon. It was so comfortable through out every portion
of the race... swimming, biking and (of course) running! It is my new
triathlon uniform. Simply the best!
Thanks!

This is a picture of me at the Bluewater Duathlon in Southwestern Ontario. As you can see I stayed nice and cool in my running skirt!! I am totally addicted to them and I love eavesdropping on the people around me commenting on how attractive they are. Who knew that a skirt could be so great!

After 2 years of recovering from a debilitating illness which had me barely able to walk and then only with a cane...I finished and won (my age group) my first Half Marathon (Swan Lake Half in Viborg, South Dakota, 1 Jul 07)! The Running Skirt was so comfortable I could have run more! Maybe next time a full marathon...

I own four skirts now and find they are comfortable enough to go the distance. The side pockets are great for gel packs – my shorts usually had a pocket on the inside (who wants to be groping down their pants during a run!?!). This is during the Calgary Marathon, July 8, 2007. Thanks for starting a Canadian branch of the company!

My daughter and I at the 29th Annual Oldham County Festival Fun Run/Walk (July 20, 2007). Emi ran the 1 mile race and I ran the 5k, sporting my new running skirt. I love skirt! It's more comfortable then any pair of running shorts I have ever worn. During my race, my daughter wore her new "Go Mommy Go" T-shirt - as she cheered!
Go RUNNING SKIRTS!!!

This is a picture of my daughter and I after I had finished the
Provo Freedom 10K and she ran the 1 Mile kid's race. Again, I had several comments about my running skirt. I PR'd my race and stayed cool in the hot Utah temps. My daughter can't wait until skirts are available for her to run in. I love these skirts!

I wore my 'grass and sky' skirt in a local 5K race on an extremely hot evening.I felt comfortable in spite of the heat and humidity.Maybe my skirt helped me place 1st in my age division.

I love my pink and blue running skirt!! I think they are extremely flattering and at 58 I can still feel fun and very feminine running! Here is a picture of me that my niece took while I was running the 4th of July Road Race in Hingham--I've been running this race for 18 years! I sent my sister in Florida a pink skirt, she's 61, so we can be twins running the Disney Half Marathon in January!

Here are two sisters-in-law/new moms celebrating Canada Day by running a 5K together in our fantastic running skirts. As you can see, we have very different body types, but both of us love the fit and comfort of your running skirts! We hate running in shorts now. We love the colour selection, so we can build a whole collection for our races! (Shhh... don't tell our husbands. They are too distracted by the skirt's hotness factor to notice how often we're buying them.)
Thank you for your fantastic product!

I am in a hotel with my husband in Oahu, Hawaii (see the palm trees through the window!!!). We were there for our wedding anniversary. Other than the standard hot weather gear to pack, I knew I HAD TO bring my 2 running skirts!! They ran with me on Oahu, Maui and Lana'i during our trip. The skirts not only kept my hotel room keys safely in the pockets, the design of them kept me as cool as I could be running in that hot weather. They are definitely better for hot humid weather because the breeze can really get under the skirt and keep you as cool as you can be....better than shorts :-))
I fell in LOVE with Cindy and Christy's Running Skirts as soon as I saw them. Yes, they look good. However, as a marathoner, I want functionality and durability as well and I get that with my skirts. The waistband is never tight, even on the days I feel so bloated!!! The brief attached is just perfect as they do not rideup. I feel great in them!! My husband, more importantly LOVES them as he thinks I look fantastic in them.
