We spent Thanksgiving Day at my brother's house which happened to have a 5K race about 3 miles away. Perfect! The race was along a river and was super windy, but my skirt stayed put! Thanks! Hester |

This picture is at the Mesa Mi Amigo's Turkey Trot on Thanksgiving morning. I wore choco-pink for the occasion. Lots of great compliments from the other runners, and spectators. I love these skirts! At first I was nervous about purchasing one, but they are the best! I will never run in anything but a runningskirt again! Eileen Doherty |

I ran the 8 mile Turkey Trot in Dallas with my dog, Dexter. On August 21, 2007, I was training to run the Nike Women's Marathon in San Francisco. During a 10 mile weekday run I was hit by a car (he actually ran over my right leg) and suffered a broken ankle. I missed 7 weeks of work (I'm a Physical Therapist) and had to work hard to get to walking without pain. 2 weeks prior to the Turkey Trot I started with some running. I got one 4-mile run in & three 6-mile runs prior to the Trot. A little stiff, but no pain. I successfully completed the Turkey Trot, even though I was slower than normal. I truly was giving thanks for the ability to run on Thanksgiving Day. Karine Talley |

My first race wearing your running skirt was a half marathon on a rainy Thanksgiving! I loved not having to pull at my shorts every few minutes during this run. Not only was the skirt comfortable enough to wear for 13.1 miles, but I smashed my PR too! Thanks Runningskirts.com!! Kelly |

A couple of pictures at our Thanksgiving Cross Country Classic 5K. Too bad my husband isn't that great of photographer, but he did get a good picture of the skirt! And, the best part was that I beat my husband by 15 sec with a time of 24:49! Do you think the skirt helped? Amy Brenton |

Hi, I'm Diane Marie and I'm 11 years old. My mom ordered me 2 "mini" skirts and they arrived just in time for me to wear one at the 3rd Annual Race Against Hunger 5K which was held on Thanksgiving morning. I had been training for a month and I am writing a report for school on my experience. It was chilly out at the race, but not too cold to keep me from wearing my adorable new skirt! I finished my race in 39:12, which was under my goal-yeah! I've also included a picture of my grandma, Mary, who was also wearing her new running skirt that mom ordered. But, she had to wear tights under it because of how cold it was on race morning. She is 61 years old and a weekend warrior type racer. She didn't train and then she came out and won the 60-69 year old age division with a time of 38:25. Maybe it was the skirt that made her faster than me. :) The other people in the picture are my uncle Jimmy & my little brother Jimmy(he was the overall winner for the kids fun run and then also ran in the 5K and finished in 32:30). Trisha Morton. I participated in a 5K race in Highlands Ranch, CO on Thanksgiving Day. It was a bitterly cold race at only 19 degrees; however, I was still lucky enough to place first in my age group and 6th overall for females. Attached are the pictures of me in my running skirt (bib number 660). I ran the 5K in 21:44. Thanks for the contest and the opportunity to enter. I absolutely love your product, even when the weather is not so nice. I have also attached the race results. |

This Thanksgiving I ran in the Outback Classic 1/2 Marathon in Jacksonville, Florida. Even though it rained the entire race, my skirt stayed dry and comfortable. It was great! I can't be any happier with runningskirts. I'd recommend them to anyone who enjoys being comfortable and looking stylish and feminine while they run. I've just purchased my fourth one! |

Run For The Hungry 5K at Petco Park - San Diego, CA November 22, 2007 IRENE MORTON 27:29 Not my fastest 5k, but it was fun. I actually has a guy ask about the skirt and wanted to know where to get one! |

I did my thanksgiving race, but since I’m an ultra runner, I didn’t do a 5k or 10k. Instead I ran the Quadruple Dipsea (trail 28miler with 9k ft of elevation gain). I wore my skirt along with our club singlet and it was a perfect match. I didn’t win the race, but I managed a top 10 spot for women (5hr 22min). However, according to a couple of guys, I definitely won the “best skirt”’ prize (and there were several girls running with other skirts). Since I crossed the same aid stations 4 times, every time I passed I got tons of compliments on the skirts. Florencia |

Gaela Stromberg Name of Event: Turkey Trot 10k Charging up the hills upon hills around the University of Richmond was definately a great way to get out of cooking Thanksgiving dinner. I'd wear my skirt regardless but this year's Turkey Trot was about 30 degrees warmer than last year - perfect racewear! |

Here are some pictures of me before and during the 25th YMCA Bethesda-Chevy Chase Turkey Chase 10K in Bethesda, MD, on Thanksgiving morning. It was actually a personal worst for me for a 10K (1:08:36), but I was recovering from a PR at the Richmond Marathon less than 2 weeks before. The skirt performed well (as always)---even if I didn't! My ipod nano fit in the pocket perfectly, no bouncing or falling out. I have three of your skirts and can't wait to get more! Every race I wear them in, women ask me tons of questions---and I send them to your site! Thanks for a great product! Charli |

Glorybelle 2007 Modesto Turkey Trot 5K Run Ran a new PR of 20:24, placed 2nd in Age Group (30-39), 5th woman to finish and 70th runner out of 912. I got a lot of odd looks from people who thought I must be joking about running in a skirt, but when I beat them to the finish line it was sweet justice. I'm sure they were thinking, "That SKIRT beat me!" I love it! |
